MangoStrategy helps clients develop and track a wide variety of Benchmarking Studies to support their business objectives. We work with clients to understand their benchmarking objectives, identify the appropriate benchmark frameworks and metrics, determine the universe of benchmark companies, develop a benchmark database structure, and design the report outputs.

  • Comparative Website Analysis: Compares and assesses the structure, organization, functionality, and traffic patterns of comparable company websites. Used as an input into competitive analyses, partner assessments and salient client reviews, typical deliverables are PowerPoint presentations which provide an executive summary of salient similarities and differences, define functionality criteria and a relevant comparison framework, review profiles of selected comparable company websites, and outline key implications, issues and opportunities.
  • Financial Benchmark Analysis: Benchmarks key financial performance and operating ratios of a target universe of companies. Used as input into competitive analyses, M&A scans, business development and thought leadership deliverables, the benchmarks collected and analyzed may include summary financials (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), segment breakdowns, geographic breakdowns, detailed financial ratios, and other metrics culled from in-depth examination of financial disclosure documents and their associated footnotes.
  • Competitive Benchmark Analysis: Compares selected benchmarks across a defined universe of companies. While specific benchmarks are dependent on individual client requirements, they may include market share, product functionality, pricing, technology, operations, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and other metrics.
